Protecting our communities and the natural world from exploitation and degradation by those who use and use up the planet for their own self interests is what I see as vital and makes me love my work. Informing and connecting people is the key to a powerful defense and a strategic offense. Telling the truth and an appetite for pesky details makes it possible to fight and win although stamina and passion is needed to weather the battles and still feel good and keep hope.
